Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) convened a
stakeholder engagement session at The Pavilion, G.R.A., Port
Harcourt, reaffirming its commitment to collaboration,
transparency, and sustainable community relations in the Niger
Delta region.
The session began with a prayer and a welcome address from Dr.
Akpos Mezeh, General Manager, PINL, who emphasized the importance
of stakeholder dialogue in building trust, addressing operational
concerns, and strengthening partnerships. He further reiterated
PINL’s dedication to safety, environmental protection, and
sustainable development.
During the interactive discussions, stakeholders representing
community groups, regulatory agencies, and partner organizations
raised key issues, including:
*Strengthening community engagement and development programs.
*Addressing environmental and safety concerns around pipeline
operations.
*Expanding corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives,
notably the collection of completed scholarship forms and the
preparation for the women’s training program this quarter.
In response, PINL management assured participants that their input
would be carefully reviewed and integrated into the company’s
operations, emphasizing its commitment to delivering inclusive and
impactful initiatives.
Closing remark was delivered by Engr. Ebikeme Andrew (Community
Relations Manager (PINL)) expressed gratitude to stakeholders for
their active participation. He stressed that their insights remain
central to PINL’s long-term success and sustainability.
The engagement concluded with a prayer, group photographs, and
informal networking.
