Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) Holds Successful Stakeholders Engagement in Port Harcourt

Port Harcourt, Rivers State – October 23, 2025.
Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) has successfully hosted its Stakeholders Engagement Meeting at The Pavilion, G.R.A, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, bringing together key community leaders, government representatives, and industry stakeholders to deliberate on ongoing and future initiatives within the Eastern Corridor of the company’s operational areas.

The engagement, part of PINL’s continuous efforts to strengthen relationships with host communities and critical stakeholders, provided a platform for open dialogue, constructive feedback, and collaboration aimed at promoting sustainable community development and efficient pipeline management.

In his keynote address, Dr. Akpos Mezeh, General Manager, Community Relations and Stakeholders Engagement, reaffirmed PINL’s unwavering commitment to transparency, inclusiveness, and sustainable partnerships. He emphasized that stakeholder engagement remains a cornerstone of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) philosophy and long-term operational success.

“At PINL, we recognize that our long-term success is tied to the well-being and trust of the communities where we operate. This engagement reaffirms our dedication to fostering mutual respect, supporting local development, and maintaining a secure and sustainable operational environment,” Dr. Mezeh stated.

The meeting featured robust discussions and presentations on community empowerment programs, host community inclusion, infrastructure support, and the localisation of development initiatives. Participants commended PINL for its proactive communication approach and continuous investment in human capacity development—particularly through initiatives such as the Scholarship Scheme for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies, and the recently concluded Data Capturing Exercise for the Women Entrepreneurship & Empowerment Programme in Bayelsa and Rivers States.

Representatives from host communities, government agencies, and security institutions in attendance pledged their support for sustained collaboration to ensure peaceful operations and shared prosperity. 

The session concluded with a renewed commitment by all stakeholders to work collectively to ensure that infrastructure development aligns with the broader socio-economic growth and sustainable advancement of the Niger Delta region.
